Modifying the look of a car

Let me start with two quotes based on myself related to car and then I will explain the story behind the sketch.

“Men will be men” & “Never Settle”

In my life I can combine the meaning of the two quotes and give it as a same sentence that I personally never been satisfied with the actual world that happenings…

Personally, my thoughts are often against the nature things that are happening and buildup my eagerness in reversing things that are actually happening. for example I always think that “ why alphabets are actually named as if they are and why not A as B and B as something else”, like wise “why liquids are called as liquids and not solid” and vice versa. That’s a bit funny right!!. May be but this story gonna say something that was a emotional side of this kid which was very childish struggle the kid had in his life. but with an emotional part.

The main character of the story is this car named Alto 800. in 2015, our family had bought this car when I were 15 years old.

I was studying 10th grade, and one fine evening this silver coloured alto approached to our home. I was really surprised that my dad came out of the car and said it is our own car.

The joy at that time to me were priceless, after the days of realisation that I had that this is our car, I was very eager to sticker my name on it in short form named KSG, but until some paper work gets over the order is to leave it plain.

once the car gets the RTO done and then during the number plate work I asked my dad to sticker my name on it and yes it done.

soon after months where ksg will be ksg decided to upgrade the cars look by even more stickers, pleased my dad to do some works and he said ok and we both gone to stickering shop. there a man was advised to do many things that every cars had as common that I was never liked. I wanted to be unique in either way even it is a small design. But I had no idea in my mind what to do as my self, I thought that they will be having some interesting options which they did not actually have. I had no lingual knowledge to make them understand even in my creativity. so that day I have returned home as if the same plain alto.

As the years gone, I have joined college with millions of dreams including the wrapping works. In college I have learnt many new terms in cars and along with the friends who gave me new ideas how to modify a car and how to change the looks of a car, and including how to tune its performance everything mixed up in me and the eagerness inside my grew up slightly to customize my car.

The learning skill

Toughly the growth of my skill were low compared to my eagerness, I couldn’t do any thing still thinking how to represent a design.

Started learning photoshop which was a big challenging deal I dont even understand their user interface, and tried something and became really a disgusting one. I couldn’t tolerate whats going on in my mind. Then I started hearing courses related to car designs and there are specific softwares to learn them. I have started learning AutoCAD, solidworks. Solid works was really insane to me the user interface made me feel like I’m a 3D sculptor.

After 5 to 6 years now as a UG graduate, the day I entered my college with a dream and now I have achieved it. by designing them once I have completed the solidworks.

The Basic one

As usual the outerbody of the car has been drawn using the blueprints of the car.

At first only one side of the car is sketched and the other side of the car is mirrored so that we can make sure that the bosy is symmetric and no need in worrying about similarity.

once the outer body is over all the accessories are been designed and attached to the body of the car and the tyres are assembled to the car with sub assemblies like disc braking system.

Before the modified version we should come up with the actual version the actual version came up well and hence the part of my dream and the eagerness partially fulfilled.

So this is the car named Alto 800 basic version, the outer body of the car is actual version with same dimensions but slightly different in its front look. additionally the tyres of the actual alto was a bit back lag for me always every time i see the car I look its tyres as a disadvantage for it. Hence I liked to change its size enlarging and giving up an update to a monster tyres.

The car that I sketched is my third project successing Nissan GTR and Lamborghini aventador. The ultimate Win was that I had no guidance to draw this even I didn’t need one. Just all I had was Eagerness after going through many Instagram posts on modifying cars.

These are the rendered look of the plain car without any modification.

The Modification

Actually I think just now we are entering our topic, but I feel like the story above was interesting. Basically alto does not come up with spoilers in their model but i have given a spoiler which gives absolutely a new look.

So this was the dream to modify my car with wraps. It may be a very small work of modification but even though the struggle I had to come up with it must be relatable.
